1 . Descriptions:

The chilled water system, also known as a chiller or industrial chiller, is a device that reduces the temperature of water through the refrigeration cycle and circulates the cooled water to supply equipment or systems for cooling. The working principle of the chilled watera system is based on the refrigeration cycle, involving the evaporation and condensation of refrigerant to remove heat from the cooling water.

The process begins with the compressor, which compresses low-pressure refrigerant gas into high-pressure gas. This high-pressure refrigerant gas then enters the condenser, where it exchanges heat with air or cooling water, releases heat, and condenses into high-pressure liquid. The high-pressure refrigerant liquid passes through the expansion valve, reducing pressure and cooling temperature, transforming into low-pressure liquid. This low-pressure refrigerant liquid enters the evaporator, where it exchanges heat with circulating water, absorbs heat, and evaporates into low-pressure gas. The cooled circulating water is then sent through pipelines to the equipment or system that needs cooling, recycling back into the process. The evaporated low-pressure refrigerant gas returns to the compressor, entering the next cycle.
